長谷寺から大仏へ。

奈良の長谷寺の観音様より、やや小さいですが、こちらの十一面観音様も素敵です。
奈良と違って全身を拝むことができます。

広い境内では、他にも多くのお像にも出会えます。


「弁天窟」は、ちょっとした洞窟探検の気分を味わえます。
洞窟の中の弁天様はおだやかなお顔。


お供え用の弁天さんがわんさかです。


紫陽花で有名な「長谷寺」ですが、四季折々の花が楽しめるお寺でもあります。
訪問した時は、睡蓮の花には出会えませんでしたが、


亀がひょっこり顔を出してくれました。


水辺では「カイウ」のお花に。


「シモツケ」です。


赤と白が半々のものも・・・。不思議・・・。


躑躅もかろうじて残っていました。


自宅の側でも見かけますが、金平糖みたいで好きです。


「長谷寺」を後にして、大仏さんに会いに行きました。
もう閉館の時間かと、外からお顔だけでも眺めて行こうと・・・・。


三十分だけ時間があるとのことで、中に入って来ました。


奈良の大仏様とは、お手の形が違いますね。


奈良の大仏殿の中の大仏様もいいけれど、緑に囲まれた大仏様もいいものですね。
鎌倉の大仏殿、かつての地震時の津波で流されたのだそう・・・。

野外で傷みがあるのは残念ですが．．．お顔のきれいな大仏様ですね。
