中欧を巡る旅その66 ブダペスト2日目5 聖イシュトヴァーン大聖堂1 2010.11.18

聖イシュトヴァーン大聖堂。ここは、ブダペストでも一番行きたかった所です。
初代ハンガリー国王「イシュトヴァーン」の名前を冠する聖堂。1905年完成の聖堂は、重厚で静謐な空間が拡がる素敵な所でした。




聖堂の入口の前の広場の模様も素敵です。


中に一歩足を踏み入れた瞬間から魅了されました。
天窓から差し込む光が聖像を光輝かせ、なんと神々しいことか・・・。




ドームの天井の荘厳さには圧倒されます。

一日眺めていても飽きのこなそうなとても重厚のある雰囲気ですね。
細やかな装飾も圧巻ですね。
